Recently I have been on a summer music kick. I just wanna head to the beach with my shades and these songs playing in the background. If only music could follow you around.

Oh How Pinteresting
Dreams of a gorgeous apartment keep drifting in and out of my mind. Then reality slams me in the face. I am getting a craigslist couch, my brothers old bed, and used kitchen apparatuses.
Ok, so maybe I can't have designer furniture, but I can do the little things right. Here are some small things done right, that can really spruce up a dull space. And some other fun stuff too :)
It's a serious slam to my pinterest world.

| Oh, I wish I had saved more stubs, but even just with pictures, this is a wonderful idea. |

| Chic and Cheap. This can be done on both a shower curtain or regular curtains. It would glam up the mustache shower curtain for sure. |

| Hehehe, what a magnet. This could be used on anything magnetic. I would kill to see one on a car. |

| So cute. The class frame might be a little costly though. I might get a tile, and use some transfer paper, or modge podge. |

| Not so cheap. But I love the idea of having a separate space for the tons of coffee devices and mugs I have collected over the years. Easily done with a cheaper piece of furniture too. |

I Got It!
It is official, I seriously did beat off all the other applicants! I will have my own place on Sept. 1st.
It is located in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle, only about two blocks off lake union, and about 3 minutes away from downtown, capitol hill, and the U district. It is in the middle of everything, but still in a nice residential spot. Did I mention it is one block away from Voxx Coffee, shoooot, there goes my money.
It is a 1920's building with great character, but well kept up. Nice wood flooring, marble counter tops, a full kitchen, huge walk in closet, and although it is a studio, there is enough room for seperate living and sleeping space, which is very rare in my price range. Plus it is the top floor corner unit, so I have two extra windows and no one above me stompin up a storm.
I was so excited yesterday it was like I had 12 cups of coffee, I literally kept bouncing. Getting your first apartment is a big deal. And now my mind is racing with all the things I need to accumulate and do before I move in.
I start work august 20th and I move in sept 1st. The whirlwind is about to begin.
I would love to hear any suggestions you have about decorating a smaller space, and just renting in general, because I am a clear noob.
Looking forward to some cheap diy decorations, and funny teacher stories coming your way in the next months

She even caught on to the craze, and instagramed her own meme when the pool was closed. I would say she is a good sport, except that was her face on the podium while receiving her silver medal.
